LOFOTEN 1968BL is a complete set: a square garden lantern and the pole it stands on. The fitting is 19 × 19 cm in plan and 30 cm tall, the body is cast aluminium and steel powder-coated black in RAL 9005, and the sides are filled with milky PMMA. How high it stands The pole is telescopic — the manufacturer gives an adjustment range of 120–220 cm, which with the 30 cm fitting makes an overall height of 150 to 250 cm. At 150 cm the light comes from roughly shoulder height and covers the path immediately below; at 250 cm the lantern stands clearly above an adult and reaches a wider stretch of drive or lawn. The height is set during installation. Which bulb you need The fitting has one E27 socket for a lamp in the A55–A60 envelope. No bulb is supplied, and the manufacturer states a limit: LED of at most 11 W. The user replaces it themselves. You pick the colour of the light with the bulb — a garden is usually lit at 2700–3000 K, which is warm light. The milky sides spread it to all four faces rather than aiming a narrow beam downwards. Mounting and wiring The pole base is bolted through three ø10.5 mm holes set 120° apart on a ø207 mm circle. The adapter for a concrete foundation, index 111GA0012, is a separate order and is not in the set. The terminal takes cable up to 2 × 4 mm², and the fitting can be looped through with up to 2 × 2.5 mm², so several lanterns can share one circuit; the gland accepts round cable up to ø12.5 mm in diameter. The fitting is rated IP44 and Class II, so no earth conductor is needed. The set weighs 6.4 kg net and 8.1 kg gross.
