This is a 20 m coil of the milky BASIC diffuser in PMMA, packed in a carton that doubles as a dispenser. A roller sits inside the box, and you unwind only as much cover as the run of profile needs; the rest stays coiled and protected in the packaging. What the milky diffuser does to the light The milky version is a white screen: neither the inside of the profile nor the individual diodes show through, so the strip reads as a continuous line rather than a row of dots. That is paid for in output — milky PMMA passes 51% of the light, against 95% for the transparent version, 78% for the frosted one and 83% for frosted milky. That difference belongs in the choice of strip. If a run has to reach a given brightness, the strip under a milky diffuser is specified stronger than under a transparent one — roughly twice as strong to arrive at the same result.
