The ABANDO wall light from Jupiter is a classic fitting: a right-angled arm comes out of a round black wall plate and ends in a gold candle sleeve carrying a conical shade in black fabric. The inside of the shade is lined in gold, as are the dish below the candle and the ring holding the shade. How big it is and how far it stands out The fitting is 42.5 cm high and 19.5 cm wide, and it projects 28 cm from the wall. That last figure usually decides it: 28 cm is roughly the depth of a bedside table, so the light genuinely reaches into the room, which matters in a narrow hallway or in the walkway beside a bed.
