RENAISSANCE MOD256WL-L5BS3K1 is a wall lamp built from a single brass rod 63 cm tall, set on an oval backplate that screws to the wall. A white silicone diffuser runs along the rod and that is the part that lights; the rod itself, gently curved where it meets the plate, is the drawing of the fitting. How much wall it takes The sconce is 63 cm high and 9.7 cm wide, and it stands 8.6 cm off the wall. That last figure decides where it can go — set it against whatever will sit beside the planned position: the edge of a bedside table, a door frame, the side of a mirror. The oval backplate measures 16 × 7 cm and covers a standard installation box. The whole fitting weighs 0.57 kg, so an ordinary wall fixing is enough and no anchor into structure is needed. How much light it gives The built-in LED module draws 7 W and delivers 200 lm. That is roughly a quarter of a former 60 W bulb — light for picking out a section of wall beside a bed or a mirror, not for lighting a room. The beam angle is 30°, so what appears on the wall is a clearly bounded band rather than an even wash. 3000 K is warm white, noticeably warmer than daylight, and a colour rendering index of Ra 80 sits in the usual range for decorative fittings. The manufacturer states the lamp is not dimmable: the brightness is fixed and no dimmer in the circuit is provided for. The light source is permanently built in — there is no socket and no bulb to change, and the declared module life is 50,000 hours. Mounting and finish The fitting is protection class I, so it needs the protective conductor connected — an earth has to be brought out at the mounting point. Supply is 220–240 V, 50 Hz. The body is metal in a brass finish, with no insert of any other material. The manufacturer declares energy class G; at 200 lm from 7 W that letter is consistent with a build in which the diffuser and the narrow beam absorb part of the flux.
