25382 is a wall light from the Greek brand ZAMBELIS Lights, made of gypsum in pure white. The half-round body, 18 x 10 x 9 cm, emits light upwards and downwards. Gypsum — a material that changes the rulesA gypsum body is not merely an aesthetic choice. Gypsum can be painted with the same paint used on the wall, so the fitting disappears — it becomes a part of the wall that light comes out of, rather than an object hung on it. Interior architects use this where the lighting is meant to be invisible by day.The second consequence is texture: the matt, slightly porous gypsum surface scatters light falling on it quite differently from lacquered metal — no highlights and no hard shadow edges. Light up and downZAMBELIS lists this model's special feature as Up-Down Lighting: a single G9 lamp inside the body throws two beams — one up the wall, one down it. The result is two symmetrical washes on the wall, with the fitting itself staying dark between them. This is used on staircases, in corridors and beside a bed, where the point is to draw the wall with light rather than to light the room. One 25 W point will not replace a ceiling fitting and is not meant to. The G9 lamp — chosen by youThe fitting takes one G9 lamp of up to 25 W, which is not included. The 25 W limit is set for G9 halogens; if you choose LED, 3–4 W will give a similar amount of light at a fraction of the consumption. An important note when choosing: ZAMBELIS gives every photometric parameter — colour temperature, CRI, flux, beam angle, UGR, energy class and lifetime — as N/A, because the fitting is sold without a lamp. The colour and quality of the light are decided entirely by the bulb you fit. A white gypsum wall light suits 2700–3000 K best; cooler colours emphasise the grey of the material. The fitting is not dimmable on the fixture side — control is only possible through a wall dimmer working with the lamp you choose. Specification Code: 25382 | EAN: 5212031021663 Type: indoor wall light | Special feature: up-down lighting Material: gypsum | Colour: pure white Dimensions: L 10 cm x W 18 cm x H 9 cm Lamp: 1 x G9, max 25 W — not included Supply: 220–240 V, 50/60 Hz Safety class: I | Ingress protection: IP20 Dimming: none Warranty: 3 years Package: 24.5 x 15 x 17.5 cm | Gross weight: 1 kg Things to bear in mindSafety class I means the back box in the wall must have an earth conductor. IP20 restricts installation to dry rooms — this is not a fitting for a bathroom shower zone. The manufacturer states plainly that the fitting needs no cut-out and no recess (Cutting Hole: None, Depth Required: None) — it mounts on the wall surface, which simplifies installation in a finished interior.Gypsum is a brittle material: it needs care in transport and installation, and attention to vibration when drilling nearby.Afișează mai mult
