ESKOLA 140 is a wall and ceiling light built from an open frame of steel rods spanning 140 cm. The outline is not a true circle — the contour runs asymmetrically and slightly out of plane, and the radial rods meet at the round canopy in the centre. The whole structure is matt black, cable and canopy included. How much room it takes and how it is mounted The frame measures 140 cm at its widest point — compare that figure with the free wall or ceiling area you actually have. It projects only 22.5 cm from the surface, so it also fits where a pendant does not: under a low ceiling or above a walkway. The canopy is 20 cm across and covers the installation box. The fitting weighs 5.85 kg and mounts on a flat bracket held by two screws. It is protection class I, which the manufacturer also marks on the installation drawing: an earth conductor has to be present in the box. The light ESKOLA 140 gives A single E27 lampholder sits in the centre of the frame, rated for a maximum of 15 W. No bulb is supplied, so you choose the brightness and the colour of the light yourself — living rooms and bedrooms usually take 2700–3000 K, a warm, slightly yellow light. The frame is open and does not shade the source: the bulb stays visible from every side and the rods draw a fine pattern of shadows on the wall. The bulb is therefore part of the composition — it is on show with the light switched off as well. Build and the other sizes The structure is steel throughout, with no shade and no ornament — only the drawing of contour and spokes remains, which matches the minimalist character of the series. The lamp is made in Poland and the manufacturer gives a five-year warranty. The wall and ceiling version of ESKOLA comes in three sizes: 70, 110 and 140 cm, and the same form is available as a pendant. The manufacturer intends it for the living room, the bedroom and the hallway; 140 cm is the version for a large bare wall, or for the ceiling of a room where the lamp is meant to be the main feature.Mostrar mais
