Santiago is a five-arm pendant fitting with a 75 cm spread, built from steel plated in brushed aged brass. The arms sweep down in a curve and back up, each ending in a brass ball with a lamp holder. The fitting hangs from a 1.5 m chain, with a grey braided fabric flex running alongside it. What is in the box and what has to be bought with it This is a fitting sold without shades — the photographs show exactly what arrives: body, arms and five lamp holders. Endon intends five shades of 16 or 20 cm diameter to go with it, bought separately; each one adds more than ten centimetres to the finished width beyond the 75 cm of the bare frame. Lamps are not included either. The holders take the B22 bayonet cap rather than the E27 screw fitting common across continental Europe, so lamps have to be sourced for that cap. Each holder takes an LED lamp up to 7 W, so five lamps for the whole fitting. How big it is and how high to hang it The 75 cm spread is the figure to compare with the width of the table or the distance to the nearest wall. Overall height is set by the chain and runs from 68 to 209.7 cm — over a dining table the bottom of the holders usually sits 70-80 cm above the top, while in a hallway the ceiling height decides. The fitting weighs 3.1 kg. Finish and wiring Brushed aged brass gives a matt, warm metal tone with no mirror shine; the balls and holders carry the same finish. The fitting is dimmable, but dimming only works with lamps described as dimmable and with a dimmer — Endon points to dimmable B22 LED filament lamps for it. The fitting is protection class I, so the earth conductor in the ceiling box has to be connected. The manufacturer gives a two-year warranty. Santiago is also made as a wall fitting and as a four-light linear pendant, so several pieces can be matched in one room.Meer tonen
