The DARIO decorative ring is an aluminium trim part for luminaires in the DARIO range. It measures 7 cm across and weighs 30 g, and the white version has a matt finish. A stepped collar runs behind the rim, and that is what seats the ring inside the fitting's cylinder. What the DARIO ring is for The ring forms the visible inner rim around the light source at the lower edge of the fitting. The manufacturer makes it in several colours, so swapping the ring alone changes the colour of that visible part without touching the body of the luminaire. What you get This is a single trim part: the ring on its own, with no luminaire and no light source. The DARIO fitting is bought separately. The ring carries no electrical components and no wiring, so it goes on without any work on the installation.Show more
