ALTA 1475BL is a bollard light 85 cm tall on a 15 × 15 cm base. The body is hot-dip galvanized steel finished in black RAL 9005, and the lit section is closed with a milky PMMA lens. An E27 LED lamp comes in the box. Size, weight and how it is fixed The bollard is 85 cm high and 15 cm across in both horizontal directions, and weighs 9.05 kg net, 10.5 kg with packaging — at that weight it is bolted down rather than simply stood on the ground. The base fixes through three ø9 mm holes set 120° apart on a ø65 mm circle; concreting anchors, ground anchors and mounting adapters are sold separately by the manufacturer, so they have to be ordered alongside it. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 4 mm², and up to 3 × 2.5 mm² when the luminaire is looped through. The round insulated cable entering it may not exceed ø12.5 mm — a dimension to check before the cable is laid in the ground. The light it gives The supplied E27 LED lamp draws 5.9 W and produces 806 lm at 2700 K, a very warm white, with colour rendering of Ra 80. The optic is shaded from above and spreads the light rotationally symmetrically, so 100 lm leaves the luminaire. That means the bollard marks the line of a path and lights the ground immediately around it rather than covering a larger part of the garden — along a longer drive they are planned as a row. The luminaire dims on a TRIAC phase dimmer, in both trailing-edge and leading-edge mode. The dimmer itself is a separate device on the installation side. Light source and operating conditions The source is an E27 LED lamp in an A55–A60 bulb, which the end user can change; the manufacturer restricts replacements to LED. Its rated life is over 25,000 h to the L70 criterion. IP65 sealing and a silicone gasket allow it outdoors, IK08 describes its impact resistance, and protection class II means double insulation. The operating temperature range is −20 to +45 °C. The manufacturer supplies the lens and the gasket separately as service parts.Show more
