VILROSA Luces Exclusivas Pendant Lamp LE44565
VILROSA is a pendant built like a child's stacking toy: three turned ceramic bodies in pastel shades sit on a single cable, with an opal glass globe hanging below them. Each ceramic piece is 15 cm tall and shaped like a spool - swelling at the middle, narrowing at the joints - so the assembly reads as one rhythmic column rather than four separate shades. Three pastels and a white globe The colours are stacked coolest accent first: powder pink at the top, smoky blue in the middle, sand yellow at the bottom. All three carry a glossy glaze that catches the light in points and picks out the turned edges. The run finishes in a 19 cm opal glass globe - the only part that lights up. The widest point measures just 18 cm, so despite the strong colour the fitting takes up very little horizontal space. This is a vertical silhouette, narrow and tall, easier to place over a slim worktop or beside a bed than a wide shade with a similar presence. Light diffused through opal glass The bulb disappears entirely inside the opal globe, so neither lamp nor filament is visible from any direction. The glass spreads the output evenly in all directions while the ceramic bodies above stay unlit and read as a darker, matte mass. The result is soft, low-set mood light with almost no hard shadow, concentrated exactly at globe height. The manufacturer allows a light source of up to 5 W on an E14 cap. In LED form that is ample for what this fitting is for - decorative, atmospheric light. It is not a lamp that will light a whole room on its own; it works as the point around which the rest of the lighting scheme is built. Where it works The pastel palette and toy-like form make VILROSA an obvious candidate for a child's room, where colour is an asset rather than a risk. It works just as well over a small round dining table, singly or in twos and threes at staggered heights, and beside a bed in place of a table lamp - the narrow silhouette then frees up the whole nightstand. IP20 settles the question of location: this is a fitting for dry interiors only. It is not suitable for splash-prone bathroom zones or for a covered terrace. Installation and light source The pendant fixes to the ceiling through a round white rose, 10 cm across and 2,5 cm deep - flat enough to stay out of the way. The stated 240 cm covers the whole fitting including the full length of cable; the final drop is set during installation by shortening the cable to suit the ceiling height and the job the lamp is doing. No bulb is supplied, so one has to be chosen separately. The fitting can be dimmed, but that needs both a lamp expressly marked as dimmable and a dimmer in the circuit; the fitting itself contains no control gear.
