Italux Elice Black and Gold 6-Light GU10 Pendant Lamp 102 cm PND-58892-6-BK-BRO

Name: Italux Elice Black and Gold 6-Light GU10 Pendant Lamp 102 cm PND-58892-6-BK-BRO
Brand: Italux

Elice is a pendant lamp with six cylindrical shades spread along a horizontal black arm 102 cm long. A gold ring wraps each shade, and the whole fitting hangs from a rigid rod finished with a round ceiling rose. The body is made of metal alloy. How large it is and where to hang it The arm measures 102 cm, and the shades do not sit in a single row — they are offset to both sides of the bar, which is why the fitting takes up 22.5 cm of depth. Put that first figure next to the length of the surface the lamp is to hang over: above a table shorter than a metre the arm will overhang the edge. Overall height is 53 cm, and that is the entire drop below the ceiling, 20 cm of it the section holding the shades. Over a dining table the lower edge of the shades usually sits 70–80 cm above the top, so compare those 53 cm with the height of your own room. How much light it gives The fitting takes six GU10 lamps of up to 35 W each. Bulbs are not included, so you choose colour and brightness yourself — over a dining table and in a living room 2700–3000 K is the usual pick, warm light with a slightly yellow cast. The shades are opaque, so light leaves only through their open end — six separate beams rather than one diffuse glow. Dimming is possible but needs lamps described as dimmable plus a separate dimmer; the fitting itself carries no control. Build and the rooms it is meant for Everything is black-painted metal alloy, and the only contrast comes from the brass-toned gold rings on the shades and at the joint between arm and rod. The shape is modern: plain cylinders, no ornament, fixings left visible. Italux intends Elice for the dining room, kitchen, living room, bedroom and study. Six light points spread over a metre cover the whole table top rather than its centre, which matters over a longer table or a kitchen island.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
