NORLYS Frigga 2147CS garden bollard, corten RAL 8011, E27, IP65, 85 cm

Name: NORLYS Frigga 2147CS garden bollard, corten RAL 8011, E27, IP65, 85 cm
Brand: NORLYS

Frigga 2147 is a garden bollard with a 14 × 14 cm square section, standing 85 cm high. The aluminium column carries a distinctive close fluting over its whole height and is finished with a head of crystal glass, satin on the inside, in the form of a cube. This item is in the corten (Corten steel) finish, a shade close to RAL 8011. The shade will take on an amber tone over time The manufacturer states this plainly and it is worth knowing before buying: the glass shade may take on an amber colour over the years. It is neither a fault nor damage but a natural property of the glass used. If a run of bollards is to be added to in stages, new pieces may after a few years have a noticeably cooler shade than those installed earlier. Open, all-round light The glass cube is covered neither on top nor at the sides — light leaves all around and partly upwards. At 85 cm that gives even lighting of the path and its immediate surroundings, but it also means the head itself is a bright point in the field of view. That is the design intent: the bollard is meant to mark the line of a path, not only to light the surface. Lamp and control The bollard takes an E27 lamp, and the lamp is not included — it is replaced by the end user, with no service call. The manufacturer gives a maximum of LED 9 W. Because the shade is satin on the inside, the shape of the envelope hardly matters; what counts is the output and colour temperature, which you choose yourself. Installation and wiring The base fixes through three ø9 mm holes at 120° on a ø65 mm circle. The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 2.5 mm², with the option of looping through to further bollards, also at up to 2 × 2.5 mm² — useful when several are to stand along a path on one circuit. The gland is sized for round cable up to 12.5 mm. Foundations and anchors are bought separately: concreting anchor 205, ground anchor 206, adapter for concrete foundation 206S and mounting adapter 3080GA.
