Molde DC1899GR is a garden bollard 80 cm tall: a square-section body of cast aluminium, powder-coated in graphite, with a head curved over towards the ground. A diffuser of clear textured polycarbonate sits under the curved cap — the source is not visible from above or from the side, only the lit surface is. How much light it throws and how it spreads it Two LED modules work inside. The manufacturer quotes 1024 lm of source flux for them, of which 435 lm leaves through the diffuser and the shielding cap — the flux of the luminaire itself, at 7.2 W drawn. A figure like that does not light a garden, it marks a route: 198 cd lays a pool of light on the surface beside the bollard, and fittings set at intervals draw the line of the path. 2700 K is warm, distinctly yellowish white, the closest to the light of an old incandescent bulb. Colour rendering is Ra 80. Just 2.89% of the flux escapes upward, and the BUG classification B0-U1-G0 confirms there is no glare to the sides — the bollard shines neither into windows nor into the eyes of anyone walking past. A 24 V supply: what the installation needs The fitting runs on 24 V direct current and is protection class III, so it is not connected to a 230 V socket. It needs an external constant-voltage power supply, not included, sized to the number of bollards in the run. The manufacturer states that choosing the supply and carrying out the installation belong to a qualified person. The LED module is built to be dimmed, but the control is handled on the supply side, to the design of the installation. The terminals take round-sheathed cable of 5–12 mm diameter and allow the fitting to be looped in, so further bollards can be strung one after another. Mounting and weather resistance The bollard measures 80 × 16.5 × 11 cm and weighs 2 kg. It fixes through four ø7 mm holes at 18 × 50 mm centres; the ground anchor, the concrete-set anchor and the mounting adapters are separate articles, not in the box, bought to suit the ground. IP54 protects against rain and dust, IK07 against impact. The operating range of −30 to +50 °C covers a Central European winter, the polycarbonate diffuser is UV-stabilised so it does not yellow in the sun, and the LED module and the diffuser each have their own service kit.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
