E380 is a one-metre wall washer bar for lighting walls and facades from outside. Twelve separate lenses sit in a grey aluminium profile 3.3 × 2.6 cm in section, each covered by a honeycomb louvre that cuts glare. The fitting emits in RGB. What has to be bought before it lights This is a 24 V extra-low-voltage fitting in protection class III, and the manufacturer supplies no driver with it. Without a separately bought 24 V driver the bar will not light — it is not wired straight to 230 V. There is no connecting lead or connector in the box either: the matching male and female plugs are a separate Zambelis article, code CNCTR 4, with 25 cm of cable and an IP66 rating. One supply run carries at most six fittings connected in series. On a longer facade that number is what decides how many separate driver outputs have to be planned for. How it lights and how it is aimed Twelve light points drawing 12 W together give at most 280 lm at a colour rendering index of Ra 80. The beam is asymmetric — 60° horizontally and 10° vertically — so the light spreads wide along the wall and narrow upwards, which is how a surface is grazed evenly instead of being spotlit. Colour is changed through RGB, and dimming and control run over DALI or Bluetooth. The fitting itself therefore has no dial and no switch: colour and brightness are set by a controller on the installation side. The manufacturer quotes an L70B50 life of 50,000 hours, after which the module still keeps at least 70% of its initial output. Where and how it mounts The bar is 100 cm long and fixes on two brackets set against the surface — the manufacturer states outright that it needs no cut-out and no recess depth, so it suits a finished wall. An IP66 rating means fully dust-tight and resistant to water jets, and the aluminium housing carries an IK04 impact rating.
