Sentry Semi-Flush Ceiling Light - 2 Light Sources - Black Elstead

Name: Sentry Semi-Flush Ceiling Light - 2 Light Sources - Black Elstead
Brand: Elstead Lighting

Sentry is a Tiffany-style semi-flush ceiling light from Quoizel: a low, round drum of vertical strips of textured art glass in amber, grey, blue and clear, held by black metal bands. The strips along the bottom edge vary in length, giving a stepped, irregular outline. An opal white glass diffuser closes the drum underneath.DimensionsThe fitting is 35.6 cm in diameter and 16.5 cm high; it weighs 2.68 kg. At that height there is plenty of headroom even under a lower ceiling, and the diameter of over 35 cm is worth relating to the size of the room — the manufacturer lists living room, bedroom, dining room, hallway and study. It is an indoor Class I fitting that needs an earth connection.Light and glassInside are two E27 sockets for bulbs of up to 40 W each — the bulbs are not included. The opal diffuser underneath hides the sources and spreads the light downwards, while the coloured glass around the sides glows in its own colours. The fitting is compatible with dimmable bulbs.Art glass is made in a way that makes its colour vary from piece to piece — the manufacturer notes that no two are identical, so the tones in the lamp you receive may differ from the photo. That is a feature of the technique, not a defect.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
