Rendl Vellamo Round LED Wall Light, White, Indirect, 9.6 W 3000 K IP54

Name: Rendl Vellamo Round LED Wall Light, White, Indirect, 9.6 W 3000 K IP54
Brand: Rendl light studio

Rendl Vellamo is a round wall light in white: a flat 15 cm disc set on a short mounting cylinder that holds it off the wall. In total it projects 5 cm from the wall. The front is solid — light leaves from under the edge of the disc towards the wall. How it lights This is a fitting for indirect lighting: the light bounces off the wall and forms a bright ring around the disc, while the source itself stays out of sight. Reflected light takes on the colour of the surface it bounces from — on pale plaster the ring is strong and wide, on a dark or heavily textured wall it is weaker. That is worth bearing in mind when choosing where to mount it. The built-in LED module draws 9.6 W and gives 460 lm, which is mood-lighting level. Vellamo works as an accent on a wall or as orientation light, not as the main light in a room. 3000 K is warm white, and Ra 80 is typical of ordinary home lighting. The source is integrated — there is no socket and no bulb to change — and the manufacturer states a lifetime of 20,000 hours, about 18 years at three hours a day. The driver is inside the fitting, so it connects straight to the 230 V mains. Where it can be mounted IP54 means protection against dust and against splashing water from any direction, which is why Rendl specifies the light for both indoor and outdoor use. Outside it suits a façade, a terrace, a balcony, a gazebo or a fence; indoors a living room, bedroom, hallway or garage. The form is minimalist and modern: a smooth white circle with no visible screws, which when switched on reads as a disc in front of a halo of light.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
