Name: Recessed luminaire Waterboy R Chrome 230 V LED 10 W 40° IP65 3000 K
Brand: Rendl light studio

WATERBOY R is a round recessed downlight with a polished chrome ring and a black finned body that carries heat away from the diode. The LED module is fixed behind the reflector in the middle of the ring, and two spring clips hold the fitting in the ceiling. The housing is aluminium. Will it fit your ceiling The mounting hole has to be 7 cm across, and 8 cm of depth is needed behind the ceiling. Both figures are worth checking before you buy: in a suspended ceiling they are decided by the gap between the board and the slab. The 8.3 cm ring covers the hole with room to spare, and the fitting stands only 0.7 cm proud of the ceiling plane, so it reads as a flat disc. It weighs 380 g and holds on springs, with nothing to screw down. How much light WATERBOY R gives The built-in diode draws 10 W and delivers 550 lm. That is less than the old 60 W bulb, which gave around 800 lm, so a single fitting lights a section of a room — for general light you plan several spread across the ceiling. The beam angle is 40°, so the light falls in a narrower cone and picks out one spot instead of spreading through the whole room. The 3000 K colour is warm white: warmer than daylight, without the pronounced yellow of a traditional bulb. What is in the box and where it may go The source is permanently built in — there is no bulb to buy and none to replace; the manufacturer quotes 30,000 hours of operation, after which the whole fitting is changed. The transformer is included, so on the installation side all you need is a 230 V supply. IP65 means full dust tightness and protection against water jets. That puts the fitting over a shower and over a bath, and anywhere else steam or splashes reach the ceiling.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
