FOCUS S C050CL-U-1W is a surface-mounted ceiling spotlight: a white aluminium cylinder on a round ceiling plate 5.2 cm across. The head tilts on a short bracket, and a ribbed heat-dissipating collar runs around its rear edge. Size and mounting The ceiling plate is 5.2 cm in diameter and the whole fitting stands 12.8 cm tall. This is surface mounting, so no hole has to be cut in the ceiling — the fitting screws to the surface and covers a junction box no wider than its own base. It weighs 0.17 kg, which together with the small plate makes it usable on a suspended ceiling as well. It is protection class II, so no protective earth conductor is needed for the connection — two cores are enough. Which light source it takes The fitting runs one GU10 lamp of up to 10 W.
