DARLING 1187 is a flush ceiling light from the Polish brand Argon (Starcz) – a round fitting 45 cm across and only 8 cm deep, sitting tight to the ceiling. The finish is a textured dark grey: a matt coating with a perceptible grain rather than smooth paint. Three E27 points under one disc Inside are three E27 lampholders, each rated at a maximum of 15 W. That is the limit per lamp, not the total – but 15 W on an E27 means in practice LED sources only: a classic bulb at that wattage barely exists, and a shallow, closed housing does not shed heat the way an open chandelier does. Splitting the light across three points under one glass disc gives an even glow with no single bright centre.
