MONTALO Luces Exclusivas Pendant Lamp LE45404
MONTALO is a pendant lamp shaped as a flat ring 100 cm across, hung on thin cables below a round canopy. The hoop is steel in a silver finish, and its outer band is filled with crystal blocks set edge to edge. Light leaves the inner face and the lower rim of the ring. How big the ring is and how much room it needs A metre of diameter is a figure to set against the surface the lamp will hang over: above a 90–100 cm table the ring takes up nearly its whole width, and in a smaller room it dominates the ceiling. The stated 180 cm is the total height including the cables. With a 260 cm ceiling that drop would leave the ring 80 cm above the floor, barely clear of a table top — a difference to work out for your own room before mounting. The lamp weighs 11.6 kg, so on a plasterboard ceiling the fixing has to reach the supporting structure rather than the board alone. How much light MONTALO gives The source is built into the hoop and supplied with the lamp: an LED module of 60 W and 7407 lm. That is roughly the light of nine old 60 W bulbs, so the ring lights a whole room rather than only the surface beneath it. 3000 K is warm white — warmer than daylight, without a clearly yellow cast. The crystal blocks in the hoop break the output up, so ceiling and walls pick up reflections instead of one even patch of light. Dimming and connection The lamp can be dimmed, but that needs a dimmer on the installation side — no controller and no remote are in the box. The supply is ordinary 230 V, and an IP20 rating means dry interiors only.
