Rendl Majestic R12911 brushed aluminium recessed downlight GU10 IP44

Name: Rendl Majestic R12911 brushed aluminium recessed downlight GU10 IP44
Brand: Rendl light studio

Rendl Majestic R12911 is a round recessed downlight with a visible ring of brushed aluminium. Once set in a plasterboard ceiling, a shallow bezel 8 cm in diameter and 0.9 cm high remains; the body sits in the void and spring clips hold the fitting in the cut-out. Code R12911 and EAN 8595685417530 identify the brushed-aluminium finish. No lamp is included — the installation photograph shows a GU10 holder, and the bulb inset on the product image only illustrates the socket. Cut-out, recess depth and weight The manufacturer states a 6.5 cm mounting hole and 13 cm recess depth. Compare both with the cavity above the board before drilling: the 8 cm bezel covers the edge, but 13 cm must clear the housing and a GU10 lamp. Net weight is 0.3 kg (300 g). Rendl limits installation to drywall ceilings. In a joist, in concrete or in a panel without that depth, the springs and body have nowhere to go. GU10 lamp and 230 V supply The holder takes one replaceable GU10 lamp of 35 W maximum. Colour, output and beam come from the chosen lamp, not from the housing. Dimming needs a lamp marked dimmable and a dimmer in the circuit — the fitting itself has no control gear. Supply is 230 V from a normal mains installation. A transformer is not required and is not supplied. A GU10 LED is bought separately; 35 W is the socket load limit, not the wattage of a particular LED. IP44 and rooms IP44 means protection against splashing water. Majestic therefore suits a bathroom and kitchen, and also a living room, bedroom, dining room, hall, corridor and stairwell where a suspended ceiling needs a grid of points. It is not a garden or facade luminaire: Rendl lists it as interior lighting. In a bathroom IP44 does not replace zone assessment; the hole and 13 cm depth are checked against the void above the board, not by eye against the bath. Brushed aluminium The thin silver ring and flat glass give a modern, minimal outline with no arms or ornament. Brushed aluminium reads as metallic silver, not as mirror chrome. In a row of identical 6.5 cm holes the fitting recedes into the ceiling plane and leaves a regular grid of circles.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
