FIXO is LUMINES' suspended LED profile system: a linear fixture 62.1 mm tall and 32.2 mm wide that you build yourself. This section is 2.02 m long, made of aluminium and finished in black lacquer, so the run reads as a clean dark line against a light ceiling and disappears into a dark one. How the profile is built The cross-section is split in two. The upper chamber, 29.6 × 31.8 mm, takes the LED driver, so it does not have to be hidden in the ceiling void or in a separate box. The lower part holds an LED strip up to 23.6 mm wide and the cover. The body opens on a hinge, which means the driver or the strip can be replaced without taking the fixture off its suspension wires – the main difference between FIXO and an ordinary suspended profile that has to come down for every service call. Mounting The profile works in two arrangements: suspended on steel wire pendants, or surface-mounted to the ceiling with SLT clips. Sections join into longer lines and into shaped layouts – the manufacturer offers a straight connector, 90° and 120° angular connectors and an angular transverse connector. The separate FIXO M1 mounting profile, available in the same lengths and finishes, gives the driver a home above the run. What to add What we sell here is the profile itself – the LED strip, driver, cover and end caps are chosen separately to suit the project: DOUBLE cover in PMMA (clear, frosted, milky, milky frosted, black) and PC Fractal (clear, opal, black), in 1000, 2020 and 3000 mm lengths, end caps with a cable hole: black lacquered aluminium 12-1482-11 or ABS plastic 12-1412-01, wire pendants – the black version 14-2076-00 matches this profile, SLT mounting clip 13-0000-02 for surface installation, connectors: straight 14-3032-02, angular 90° 14-3030-01, angular 120° 14-3036-01, angular transverse 14-3038-01. Where it works This is an architectural profile, designed for continuous light lines above desks, conference tables, reception counters and kitchen islands. The concealed driver and hinge-access servicing matter most where the fixture hangs high, or over furniture that cannot simply be pushed aside.
