The V-TAC VT-2953 LED wall light is a slim white aluminium bar measuring 300 x 50 x 35 mm. One end carries a rotating reading spot, the other a linear strip of diffused light, and each is switched on separately from a switch on the top edge of the body. Two lights, two switches The spot rotates so the narrow beam can be aimed at a book or a pillow, while the strip lights the wall above the bed with an even, diffused glow. Both light sources are built into the fixture and cannot be replaced; V-TAC rates their lifespan at 18 years, based on three hours of use a day. Colour and brightness Combined, the two sources draw 9 W (3 W plus 6 W) and produce 680 lm — close to an old 60 W bulb. The colour temperature is 3000 K, a warm white similar to an incandescent bulb, with a colour rendering index above 80, so bedding or a book cover shows its colour without obvious distortion. Where it's meant to go V-TAC lists this fixture for bedrooms and hotel rooms — it is mounted next to the bed, within reach of someone lying down, so the reading light can be switched on independently of the room's main light.
