Italux Filano Pendant Light Gold, Opal Glass Globe G9 9 cm PND-33574-1-GD

Name: Italux Filano Pendant Light Gold, Opal Glass Globe G9 9 cm PND-33574-1-GD
Brand: Italux

Filano is a pendant built from two shapes: a narrow gold-finished tube and a white opal glass globe hanging beneath it. The tube is carried on a black cable running out of a round gold ceiling rose. The fitting takes one G9 lamp, and no light source is supplied. Size and how high to hang it The globe is 9 cm across and the fitting itself, tube included, stands 29 cm high. The manufacturer gives a total suspension height of 150 cm — a figure to set against the height of the room and the spot the pendant is meant to hang over. Above a table the bottom edge of a shade normally sits 70–80 cm over the top, so the light covers the surface without shining into the eyes of anyone seated. A single 9 cm globe lights only a small patch of that surface, which is why a longer table or a kitchen island usually carries several of these side by side. Lamp and dimming The fitting takes one G9 lamp rated up to 5 W. That is the limit of the socket, not the draw of the luminaire — actual brightness depends on the lamp you fit. Italux allows both classic and LED lamps, and since none is included, you choose the colour temperature and the output yourself. It can be dimmed, but that needs a lamp described as dimmable and a dimmer in the circuit: the control sits on the installation side, not in the luminaire. Opal glass is milky all the way through, so it scatters light in every direction and never shows the outline of the lamp. Build and the Filano family Tube and ceiling rose are a metal alloy in a gold finish, the shade is opal glass. The form stops at a cylinder and a sphere, with no ornament and no visible fixings beyond the rose. Italux intends Filano for the living room, bedroom, kitchen, dining room, study, hallway and children's room. The family also holds other finishes of the same fitting and a three-light version, so several pieces can be combined in one room.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
