Name: Italux Alani PND-34375-4-HBR pendant light gold, 4-light LED 24 W 3000 K, 56 cm
Brand: Italux

Alani PND-34375-4-HBR is a four-light pendant with a round gold ceiling cup. Four thin suspension cables carry two crossed gold rods, and below them, on black cords, hang four cylindrical shades of clear glass with a fine grid texture. A gold band wraps each shade at mid-height. How much light it gives The light source is built in: the manufacturer fills the socket row with "LED, not applicable", so the diodes are not changed like a bulb and the module is one piece with the fitting. The luminaire draws 24 W and delivers 1931 lm — roughly what two and a half traditional 60 W bulbs give, spread across four points. The colour temperature is 3000 K, warm white: warmer than daylight but without the distinct yellow of 2700 K. The grid texture of the glass breaks the beam into small highlights, and the manufacturer does not provide for dimming — the brightness is fixed. How big it is and how high to hang it The frame occupies a 56 × 56 cm square and the fitting itself is 30 cm tall. Over a table 80–90 cm wide that spread keeps good proportions, because the light covers the length of the top instead of one point in the middle. Total height is 110 cm, which is the maximum drop from the ceiling. With a 250 cm ceiling and a 75 cm tabletop, the full drop puts the bottom of the shades about 65 cm above the table; the usual 70–80 cm comes from shortening the cables by a dozen centimetres or so. What it is made of The manufacturer lists steel, aluminium, glass and acrylic. The metal parts — ceiling cup, rods, bands and shade caps — share a uniform gold finish, while the supply cords are left black, so they read as thin lines against a light ceiling. The shades are clear rather than opal: with the lamp off you can see through them, and the texture of the glass is what sets this fitting apart from a plain cylinder. Alani also covers one-, three-, five- and six-light versions and a black variant.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
