Italux Fanda Gold Amber Glass Wall Sconce E27 WL-31882-1-GD-AMB

Name: Italux Fanda Gold Amber Glass Wall Sconce E27 WL-31882-1-GD-AMB
Brand: Italux

The Italux Fanda WL-31882-1-GD-AMB is a wall light with a frankly decorative shape. A slim tube curves up and over from a round wall plate, and from its end hangs a shade of amber glass shaped like a flattened ellipse. The metal parts have a gold finish. Size and the space it needs The maker gives 34 cm in height, 31 cm in length and 20 cm in width. On a wall light with an arched arm those are the figures to compare with the width of the passage along the wall — it takes up noticeably more room than a flat sconce sitting against the plaster. The overall height is also 34 cm, so nothing hangs below the body. Which bulb you need The fitting has one E27 lampholder and takes a source of up to 40 W. No bulb is included, and the maker notes that either a classic or an LED one will do, so the colour and brightness are your choice. The shade is see-through and the bulb stays visible, which is why a decorative source with a visible filament is the usual pick here. Dimming is possible, but it needs a bulb described as dimmable and a dimmer in the circuit — the fitting itself carries no control gear. Glass and construction The shade is glass tinted amber, and above it sit two smaller pieces of coloured glass: a shallow bowl in a smoked tone and a cylinder in rose. Together with the gold metal they are what the fitting looks like when the light is off. The body is a metal alloy, and the wall light is intended for indoor use only. Where the maker places it Italux names the hall, the living room, the bedroom, the study and the dining room. What those have in common is a wall where the fitting works as secondary or decorative light — a single light point of up to 40 W will not light a whole room.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
