The newly designed batch mill crushes hard, brittle, but also soft and fibrous materials up to a volume of 50 ml. Due to the embrittlement of samples in the grinding chamber, tough, greasy and water-containing samples can also be processed. Particular attention was paid to further development placed on safety. The mill only starts when the lid is closed and the lid can only be opened when it is at a standstill. A quick stop also increases user safety. The test results of the new A 10 basic are comparable with the previous model A 10, since the milling chamber, beater geometries and speed are identical.
