Hansen 91739 is a wall light in industrial style: a round wall plate, a bent arm and a clear glass dome shade. The metal is finished in silver, and a knurled ring wraps the lamp holder — a detail borrowed from workshop fittings. 275 mm projection — a fitting that reaches out rather than washing the wall It stands 27.5 cm off the wall, at 22 cm high and 15 cm wide. That projection is greater than the fitting's height and decides where it belongs: the shade sits over an armchair, over a bedhead or above a worktop, not flat against the plaster. The head is carried on an adjustable knuckle, so the angle of the shade is set by hand — the light can be aimed down for reading or sideways onto the wall. The switch is on the fitting The wall plate carries a toggle switch, so the light is turned on at the lamp itself. That matters at a bedhead and anywhere there is no separate wall switch — the fitting can sit on a permanent supply and be operated where it hangs.
