Fluctus 13 outdoor wall light IP44 black Nordlux

Name: Fluctus 13 outdoor wall light IP44 black Nordlux
Brand: Nordlux

Nordlux Fluctus 13 is a cube-shaped outdoor wall light: a black metal body with horizontal slats and a white plastic diffuser behind them. The slats split the lit surface into bands and the diffuser spreads the light, so the bulb does not shine straight into your eyes. The body is jet black, RAL 9005. Size and wall mounting The fitting is 12 cm high and 13 cm wide, projects 14.7 cm from the wall and weighs 0.79 kg. It is a small body – beside a front door it takes up less space than a letterbox, so compare it with the width of the door frame or pillar it is meant for. The light is protection class I, which means it must be connected to the earth conductor. It is wired permanently into the installation, with no plug. The manufacturer allows parallel connection, so several fittings on one wall can be fed from the same circuit, with the cable looped from one to the next. Bulb and light Fluctus 13 has one E27 lampholder for a bulb of up to 15 W. The bulb is not included. With a limit that low, in practice you fit an LED bulb, which at 15 W gives as much light as an old 100 W incandescent. To change the bulb you loosen one hex screw and slide off the slatted cage. The light can be dimmed when the circuit has a dimmer and the bulb fitted is marked as dimmable. Where it can be mounted IP44 means protection against splashing water from any direction, so the fitting can hang on an outside wall exposed to rain. Nordlux notes, however, that it is not intended for coastal areas, and its impact rating of IK03 is low – it is not suited to spots where it is easily knocked. Fluctus 13 works beside a front door, on a facade, by a terrace or balcony, next to a garage and on a garden wall. The plain geometric form without ornament suits modern architecture.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
