Zuma Line PIKO ASZ.1664 tripod floor lamp 1xE27

Name: Zuma Line PIKO ASZ.1664 tripod floor lamp 1xE27
Brand: Zuma Line

The PIKO ASZ.1664 is a tripod floor lamp from the PIKO series. Three straight legs in a light wood tone, tapering towards the floor, carry a cylindrical shade in cream white, and the white cord with an inline switch runs along the central strut. How big it is and where it stands The lamp is 136 cm tall and the shade measures 36 cm across. At that height the lower edge of the shade sits well above the back of a normal sofa, so the light comes down onto whoever is sitting there rather than straight into their eyes. The tripod takes up roughly as much floor as the shade is wide — compare that figure with the free space in the corner or beside an armchair. The lamp stands on its own and needs nothing on the wall, but it does need a socket within reach of the cord. What bulb it needs The fitting has a single E27 lampholder on 230 V mains. No bulb is included, so brightness and light colour are yours to choose — living rooms and bedrooms usually get 2700–3000 K, a warm, slightly yellow light. The manufacturer caps the bulb at 20 W. That limit rules out the stronger incandescent lamps and in practice points to LED, where 20 W is brighter than the old 60 W bulb by a wide margin. The switch sits on the cord, so the lamp is turned off by hand instead of at the wall socket. Shape and setting The cream cylinder and the pale, splayed legs are a Scandinavian combination — no ornament, simple lines. The shade is opaque at the sides and open top and bottom, so part of the light goes to the ceiling and part onto the floor beside the lamp. The manufacturer intends it for living rooms and bedrooms: next to a sofa, beside an armchair, or in the corner the ceiling light never reaches. It ships in a 121 × 39 × 8 cm carton.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
