Cannula Filters are used on the end of a sampling cannula and feature a large surface area and optimized flow rate for an ideal choice in applications with a high presence of particulates. Filters are traceable by lot number and meet all current guidelines of USP and FDA. In general the cannula filters are made from UMWH PE (Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene). In some occasions where chemical compatibility is an issue with UMWH PE, we offer PVDF (Polyvinylidene fluoride or polyvinylidene difluoride) cannula filters. PVDF exhibits an increased chemical resistance and compatibility among thermoplastic materials.
