Dining Chair with Armrests BAZAR BIZAR Trikeri, Reclaimed Teak Wood

Name: Dining Chair with Armrests BAZAR BIZAR Trikeri, Reclaimed Teak Wood
Brand: BAZAR BIZAR

Trikeri is a dining chair with armrests: the frame, legs and arms are made of reclaimed teak in a pale, natural tone. The seat and backrest are woven by hand from beige cord in a basket weave, stretched between the edges of the frame. How much room it takes at the table The chair measures 58 cm wide, 54 cm deep and 82 cm high. At a typical dining table with a 75 cm top, the backrest rises above the tabletop — a figure worth comparing with your own table if the chairs are meant to tuck underneath after a meal. When counting places, about 60 cm of table edge per adult is the usual measure. The 58 cm is taken across the outer edges of the armrests, so the chairs will stand side by side without overlapping. The woven seat and back Seat and backrest are hand-woven from cord in a basket weave. There is no upholstery and no removable cover — the weave is the only layer between the sitter and the wooden frame, and its structure is visible in the close-up photographs. The backrest is contoured, and the arms grow out of the same frame as the legs, sloping gently forward. The whole chair weighs 6.7 kg, so it can be moved aside with one hand when cleaning. Reclaimed wood and care The teak is reclaimed and the chair is made by hand in Indonesia. The maker therefore notes that every piece carries a different spread of sandy tones and its own grain pattern — two chairs from the same batch will not look identical. For everyday care the maker recommends dusting with a soft cloth and, from time to time, a thin coat of oil that keeps the warm colour of the wood. The chair is intended for indoor use only: using it outdoors, even under cover, risks moisture damage and is not covered by the warranty, and any photographs showing it in a garden are styling shots.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
