Rendl DAG SQ trimless plaster recessed downlight GU10 230 V 8 W

Name: Rendl DAG SQ trimless plaster recessed downlight GU10 230 V 8 W
Brand: Rendl light studio

DAG SQ is a square recessed downlight cast from plaster, made for plasterboard ceilings. It has no visible frame or flange: the body is set into the board and filled flush with the ceiling, so all that remains in view is the recessed cone and the light source inside it. The cut-out and the space above the ceiling The opening is cut square, 12 x 12 cm — not round with a hole saw, as on an ordinary downlight. The mesh strips on the sides of the body bond the plaster to the board, and the visible recess measures 8 cm across. The body itself is 5.6 cm tall, but Rendl states 15 cm of required installation depth, because the lamp and its supply cable still have to fit above the fitting. Compare that figure with the clear gap between board and structural ceiling at the spot you have in mind. The manufacturer allows installation in plasterboard only — this fitting is not intended for a concrete ceiling. Plaster that gets painted over The body is bare white plaster and is painted with the same paint as the ceiling. The fitting then merges into the ceiling plane instead of standing out against it in the colour of a housing. It weighs 0.55 kg, so the board needs no extra reinforcement. The light source is bought separately No lamp is included. The fitting has a GU10 holder for 230 V mains and is designed for an 8 W LED source. There is no transformer inside and none is needed — it connects straight to the wiring. Rendl recommends a GU10 LED with a 36° beam at 3000 K, a warm white. Dimming depends entirely on the lamp: the fitting has no electronics of its own, so dimmed light calls for a source described as dimmable plus a dimmer matched to it. The manufacturer assigns this fitting to the living room, bedroom, entrance hall, corridor, staircase and retail interiors.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
