TRILEDO Square CL is a surface-mounted ceiling fitting with a square 8.5 × 8.5 cm base standing 9.5 cm tall. Body and head are aluminium in matt black. Full rotation, limited tilt The head rotates 350° about the vertical axis but tilts only 20° from vertical. That is a material difference from a directional spot: TRILEDO is for correcting where the light falls, not for throwing it sideways or onto a wall. In practice it is a fitting for the surface below the ceiling — a worktop, a passage, a stretch of floor — with enough adjustment to nudge the beam axis by a dozen or so degrees when the fitting did not land exactly above what it needs to light. GU10 socket, no driver needed The holder is GU10 and takes one lamp of up to 10 W in the QPAR51 format — the standard 51 mm reflector. GU10 runs directly on mains, so the fitting connects straight to 230 V with no transformer and no driver — unlike fittings for low-voltage MR16. Colour, output and beam angle come from the lamp rather than the fitting: it is the lamp that decides whether TRILEDO puts a tight pool on a picture or a wider spread of general light. Build and mounting Aluminium counts in practice on a GU10 fitting: the metal draws heat off a lamp working inside a closed head. It weighs 0.86 kg and mounts straight to the ceiling, with no hole to cut. It is protection class I and therefore requires an earth conductor. An IP20 rating places it in dry interiors, and the supply is 220–240 V at 50/60 Hz. The maker gives a five-year warranty.
