An outdoor ceiling light, not a room fitting ASHLAND BAY is a fitting made for outdoors — the manufacturer classifies it explicitly as exterior, and IP44 means protection against splashing water from any direction. Its place is a covered terrace, a loggia, a porch or a summerhouse: somewhere it takes wind-driven rain but does not stand in a jet of water. Seeded glass The side wall and the lower, slightly domed cover are seeded glass — with air bubbles introduced deliberately.
