The W-FL145Z sits as the mid-large option in Winton's W-FL flail range. At 1.45m it clears paddocks and orchard strips in fewer passes than the narrower siblings, without pushing into the upper end of the compact-tractor bracket. The chassis is offset from centre, so the cutting head reaches past hedge bottoms, fence lines, and posts the tractor itself cannot drive over. The added openable rear door improves the cutting efficiency by clearing materials more effectively putting less strain on the mower and tractor. Heavy flails, fine finish Twenty-four heavy hammer blades are mounted in a spiral layout around the cylindrical rotor. That arrangement bites into rank weeds and overgrown grass, but drop the cutting height and the same flails leave a finish tidy enough for lawns and sports field surfaces.
