Famlight Bacan pendant light – set of 6 glass globes, stainless steel
Famlight Bacan 27-6991001 is a six-light pendant: hand-blown glass globes on one round canopy. This version has colour in the glass mass — olive, Baltic green and grey — with polished stainless steel metalwork, not brass. Lamps are not included. The three larger globes take E27 lamps; the three smaller globes take E14. How much ceiling and table space it occupies The fitting is 120 cm high and the cluster fits a 40 × 40 cm square. That is a tight group over a table or kitchen island, not a wide cascade across a long dining run. The canopy is 330 mm in diameter, so the ceiling needs a round fixing zone of similar size rather than a single-pendant rose. The larger globes are 220 mm across, the smaller ones 145 mm; the size step is obvious from a seated position. Compare the 120 cm overall height with the ceiling-to-top distance in your room. A table around 75 cm high does not by itself set the clearance under the lowest globe — that depends on where the lowest sphere sits within the 120 cm envelope. Lamps you must add Maximum wattage is 40 W on the three E27 holders and 25 W on the three E14 holders. The 220 mm globes match E27; the 145 mm globes match E14. There is no integrated LED, so colour temperature and output come only from the lamps you fit. Each source stays visible through the glass, so the bulb’s shape and size become part of the sphere once lit. The carton does not include lamps. You need three E27 and three E14 sources within those wattage limits. The luminaire is a mains fitting with replaceable lamps; the manufacturer card does not state dimming or a built-in driver. Where a 40 cm six-globe cluster works Six points packed into a narrow cluster light a dining table, a kitchen island, a living-room seating group or a tall hallway. They do not even out light across a whole floor plan. With no ingress-protection rating published for this code, it belongs indoors — not in a wet zone and not outdoors. In a bedroom it reads as a decorative group if the ceiling can take a 120 cm drop and people can pass the globes. Glass mass and polished steel The globes are hand-blown, with colour in the glass, in a glossy finish. Code 27-6851001 is the matt six-set; 27-6001001 is the transparent six-set. This record is the coloured polished-stainless version. Cables on this variant’s documentation are black. Famlight makes the lamps in Poland.
