TEKKNI HEDE is a recessed LED profile set: a black anodised aluminium channel 2.02 m long, a frosted polycarbonate cover L32 and four black end caps. The profile disappears into the ceiling or the wall and what stays visible is the band of light framed by a narrow flange. What is in the set and what has to be added The set holds one HEDE profile, one L32 cover and four end caps — the complete housing. The LED strip and the driver are not included; both are chosen separately. The manufacturer places the power supply outside the profile, so it needs a spot of its own — in the void above a suspended ceiling or in a box beside it. The groove to prepare The profile body measures 35 mm across and 29 mm deep — that is the bed to mill into the board. The visible flange is wider at 43 mm and covers the edges of the cut. The profile is pressed into the finished groove or bonded with mounting adhesive. Sections can be joined, so a longer line of light is assembled from several pieces. One section is 2.02 m, not a round 2 m — work with the real figure when setting out the run. What strip fits and how it lights The inner channel is 33 mm wide and 27.9 mm deep. That is both the widest strip that will go in and room for multi-row strips, not only the usual few-millimetre ones. The L32 cover measures 32.7 mm wide and 4.8 mm high. The frosted finish of the cover scatters the strip's light, so instead of a row of bright points you see one continuous line. The light leaves perpendicular to the mounting plane — the profile lights what lies directly below or in front of it.
