JAVIER Luces Exclusivas Table Lamp LE44480
JAVIER is a table lamp with a 20 cm glass globe set on a slim gold-toned stem. The glass is gold-mirrored and lightens towards the top, and the whole thing stands on a round white base. The body is metal, the shade glass. How much surface it takes up The lamp is 36 cm tall and its widest point is the globe itself — 20 cm across. The base is much smaller at 12 cm, so the lamp rests on a small footprint but spreads to the full 20 cm higher up. On a narrow console or a shallow bedside table it is that second figure that decides whether the lamp fits. The manufacturer also runs a floor version in the same series, 170 cm tall with a 25 cm globe — if you want two fittings of the same form in one room, they are designed as a pair. How much light it gives The light source is built in: one LED module of 3 W delivering 341 lm at 3000 K, a warm white close to the old incandescent bulb. 341 lm is accent light — less than half what a 60 W bulb gives — so the lamp lights its own corner of the room and the glass itself, rather than serving for reading or for lighting the whole interior. The module cannot be replaced: there is no socket and no thread, the source is a permanent part of the fitting. The gold tint of the glass further damps and warms the light passing through it, so the lit globe stays noticeably darker than an opal glass globe of the same output. Dimming and connection The lamp can be dimmed, but only with a dimmer working in TRIAC technology — 0–10 V and DALI controllers will not drive it. The dimmer is bought separately and the range of adjustment depends on it, not on the lamp. The lamp runs from a 230 V socket, and the manufacturer has put a switch on the cord, so you do not have to reach for the socket to turn it on.Näytä lisää
