Steinel IR Quattro MICRO 6m COM1 in black is a recessed ceiling presence detector for automatic lighting control. After installation, the precision micro-lens is the visible element: it measures 15 × 15 mm, while the compact housing is 43 mm in diameter and 75 mm high. The in-ceiling construction keeps the installation discreet where a low-profile finish is important.Detection and controlThis passive-infrared detector monitors a full 360°. Its tangential reach is 6 × 6 m (36 m²), and its presence reach is 4 × 4 m (16 m²). STEINEL specifies an installation height from 2 to 5 m, with 2.8 m as the optimum. The twilight threshold is adjustable from 2 to 1000 lux and the time setting from 5 seconds to 60 minutes. There are no potentiometers on the unit; settings require the optional RC 8 remote control or Smart Remote.Installation data220–240 V, 50–60 Hz mains supply;COM1 switching output, up to 1000 W resistive load;0.5 W power consumption;IP65 housing, for ambient temperatures from −25 to 55°C;plastic housing in black, RAL 9005.The detector is intended for indoor use.
