The V-TAC VT-8618B ceiling light is a square fixture measuring 25 × 25 × 6.5 cm, with a black frame and a milky acrylic diffuser that spreads the light. The integrated LED SAMSUNG Chip source is built into the housing, and the fixture is surface-mounted directly to the ceiling or wall. How much and what kind of light it gives The fixture draws 18 W and produces 1830 lm at 3000 K, a warm, slightly yellowish white close to a traditional bulb. Its colour rendering index is Ra 80+, which is enough for everyday general lighting, though colours aren't rendered as accurately as under daylight. The fixture has no dimming function. The 220–240 V supply connects directly to the mains via a terminal block inside the housing – the driver is built in, and the light source cannot be replaced. The manufacturer states more than 15,000 on/off cycles and a lifespan of about 18 years at 3 hours of daily use. Where it can be mounted The IP44 rating allows mounting in places exposed to splashing water, such as above a bathroom sink, as well as in corridors and other rooms with higher humidity.
