The Atom C016CL-01W is a surface-mounted ceiling light in a plain cylindrical shape: 8.5 cm across and 11.5 cm deep. The body is aluminium in a white finish, and a recessed metal ring conceals the rim of the bulb from below. It belongs to Maytoni's Atom series. How much room it takes and how it is fitted The fitting projects 11.5 cm from the ceiling over a circle 8.5 cm across, so it stays unobtrusive even in a low room and can be repeated in a row. It weighs 0.32 kg. Mounting is on the surface: a plate with a terminal block screws to the ceiling, the body slides onto it, and the trim ring around the bulb goes in last. No cut-out or void above the ceiling is needed, so it works where a recessed downlight cannot — a concrete slab, a sloping roof, a ceiling with no suspended void. What light it gives and which bulb to buy Atom takes a single GU10 bulb of up to 10 W. No bulb is supplied: the manufacturer's energy label rates the luminaire as compatible with bulbs, not as one with a built-in source.
