Brand: Meyle

2x Axle strut for PORSCHE 996 997 Carrera turbo 986 Control arm FRONT/REAR Many more suspension parts in stock Description: The trailing arm is a central part of the suspension. The arm is oriented in the direction of travel and absorbs longitudinal forces. In many cases, the rubber boot of the ball joint fails due to dynamic stress and material embrittlement, allowing dirt and water to enter the ball joint. Therefore, trailing arms should be regularly inspected for play in the joint. Control arms should always be replaced in pairs (axle-wise). Attention: This control arm is the modified version required by Porsche TPI 44/17, which means it differs visually from the original. In addition to trailing arms and other suspension components, you will find many more spare parts for your Porsche model in our shop. Brand Information: The company Meyle was founded in Hamburg in 1958 under the name Wulf Gaertner GmbH to export original spare parts from German car manufacturers to Latin America. In 1995, the MEYLE brand was acquired, which has since become the company's name. This acquisition also marked the transition from exporter to manufacturer of its own products. Today, Meyle has several production plants where chassis and steering components, as well as rubber-metal parts, are developed and manufactured. These products are supplied not only to the spare parts business but also to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and automotive manufacturers with series production parts.
