The V-TAC VT-60018 LED panel is a surface-mounted square ceiling panel, 214 × 214 mm, with an aluminium frame and an acrylic diffuser. How big the panel is and how it mounts The housing measures 214 × 214 × 31 mm and weighs 0.35 kg. This is the surface-mounted version — it fixes directly onto the ceiling surface, without cutting a mounting hole as with recessed LED panels. The panel projects 3.1 cm below the ceiling. It runs on AC 220–240 V, 50/60 Hz, matching standard European mains power, so it connects directly without an extra transformer. How much light it gives and what colour The LED source is built into the housing and cannot be replaced — once it reaches the end of its life, the whole fixture needs replacing. The panel gives off a warm, yellowish 3000 K light, close to a traditional incandescent bulb. At 18 W it produces 1850 lm, an efficiency of about 102 lm/W. A colour rendering index of Ra 80+ is enough for everyday general lighting, though it renders colours less accurately than an Ra 90+ source. The manufacturer rates it for over 15,000 on/off cycles and a lifespan equivalent to roughly 18 years at three hours of use a day. Where it is intended for use The manufacturer designates this panel for lighting retail spaces — it works as an even, general ceiling light in a shop or sales area. The housing is aluminium, and the diffuser is made of acrylic (PMMA) and plastic (PS). It carries an F energy efficiency rating.
