TRA005CT-31B-L is an external T connector for the Maytoni TRINITY three-phase track system, in the left-hand version. The part is moulded in black plastic and joins three track sections into a T-shaped branch, carrying the current between them. What it fits and what it will not replace The connector belongs to the TRINITY system and fits only three-phase tracks from that family — profiles from other makers have a different cross-section and a different arrangement of current paths. A three-phase track carries three independent circuits, so the luminaires on one run can be split into three separately switched groups, and the connector carries all three onward. Maytoni lists an internal T connector TRA005CT-31B-R and an external L connector TRA005CL-31B-L in the same series. Which one you need depends on which side of the corner the track runs, so it is worth drawing the geometry of the run before ordering. How much of the run it takes up The connector measures 166 mm long, 99 mm wide and 32 mm high. Those 16.6 cm come off the track length on that branch — when planning sections, it is a dimension that genuinely shifts where the luminaires end up. It weighs 0.14 kg, so it adds no noticeable load to the fixings. Supply, safety and warranty The part works at 220–240 V, 50 Hz and counts among the live parts of the system, which means it carries current — installing and connecting the run is an electrician's job. The manufacturer states protection class II, so the connector itself needs no earth conductor. The IP20 rating restricts it to dry rooms; a bathroom, an unheated garage or an outdoor run are outside what it is made for.
