PIN 300 is an outdoor surface-mounted luminaire shaped as a flat disc, 300 mm across and 77 mm deep. A grey housing surrounds a white translucent diffuser. It mounts on a ceiling or on a wall, and both the LED module and the driver are built in. How much light it gives and in what colour The manufacturer quotes a luminaire output of 1415/1505 lm at 15 W — the two figures belong to the two colour settings. An old 60 W incandescent bulb gave around 800 lm, so PIN 300 is bright enough to be the main light over an entrance, a terrace or a passage rather than a supplementary one. The colour is picked with a CCT switch: 3000 K is warm white, 4000 K neutral and more task-like. The light source is integrated — there is no socket and no lamp to change, and when the module reaches the end of its life the whole luminaire is replaced. Emergency supply and control This version carries an emergency module with 3 hours of autonomy: when mains power fails, the luminaire keeps running on its own supply. That is what separates it from the other PIN 300 versions, which are sold as separate articles. Dimming runs on the DALI-2 protocol, and PUSH DIM control plus linking luminaires in the CORRIDOR function are also supported. Dimming over DALI needs an external bus controller — the luminaire does not include one. Where it can be installed IP65 means fully dust-tight and protected against water jets, so the luminaire can sit on a facade or in an open passage with no extra shelter. The housing is a thermoplastic that the manufacturer recommends specifically for saline environments, meaning locations near the sea. The base is moulded from through-coloured ABS granulate, so a scratch does not expose a different colour underneath, and the polycarbonate diffuser is UV-stabilised. The luminaire is protection class II, so it needs no earth conductor, and it is rated IK08 against impact. It projects 77 mm from the mounting surface.Zobraziť viac
