ELISSA TALL Side Table, 40 cm, Burgundy-Brown, Glossy, Nova Nook

Name: ELISSA TALL Side Table, 40 cm, Burgundy-Brown, Glossy, Nova Nook
Brand: Nova Nook

ELISSA TALL is a round side table with a 40 cm top standing 50.5 cm high. It is built entirely from MDF board finished in high-gloss lacquer in a burgundy-brown shade — a colour saturated enough that the table reads as an accent rather than background furniture. The height is what decides how you use it 50.5 cm is clearly taller than a typical coffee table and close instead to the seat height of most sofas and armchairs. The top therefore lands at armrest level, which matters in practice: a mug or a book is within reach without leaning forward. A 40 cm diameter takes a table lamp and a cup, or a small stack of books — this is a table to place beside a seat, not in front of it. The word TALL distinguishes this model from the lower ELISSA coffee tables at 60 and 80 cm. High gloss — what it means day to day High-gloss lacquer reflects light and visually enlarges a small top, but it cuts both ways: dust, fingerprints and glass rings show up more clearly on a dark shiny surface than on a matt one. A top like this wants a soft cloth rather than an abrasive sponge. The burgundy-brown is fairly dark, so it works hardest in a light interior where it acts as a counterpoint to beiges and whites. Construction The table is made throughout from MDF — a homogeneous board that takes gloss lacquer well, because it has no grain or pores to telegraph through the coating. The piece weighs 11 kg, which is substantial for a 40 cm table and translates into stability: it does not slide when you lean a hand on it.
