End cap for the LUMINES Claro LED profile, moulded in black ABS plastic. It closes the end face of the profile and covers the channel that holds the LED strip, so the inside of the profile is not visible from the end. Catalogue number 12-1302-01 is the black version. A push-out hole instead of two separate caps A scored oval hole sits in the middle of the cap and can be broken out. Left intact it closes the profile completely; broken out it becomes a pass-through for the supply cable. One part therefore covers both ends of the fitting — the one the power enters and the one opposite. For the aluminium Claro caps the manufacturer splits these two cases into separate catalogue numbers, with a hole and without one. The plastic version combines them in a single item, so you do not have to decide at ordering time which end the cable will leave. How it is fitted The cap is screwed to the end face of the profile with four screws, one in each corner. That lets you take it off and refit it when the strip needs servicing. The part is universal — it fits either end of the profile and there is no left-hand or right-hand version. Which profile it fits The cap follows the cross-section of the LUMINES Claro profile and fits that system only. In a Claro assembly it works together with the cover, the LED strip and the suspension system, closing the profile at both ends.
