WoodMan LAYTI-140 Folding Futon Sofa, Natural Beech, Ash Grey, WUA-01115

Name: WoodMan LAYTI-140 Folding Futon Sofa, Natural Beech, Ash Grey, WUA-01115
Brand: WoodMan

WoodMan LAYTI-140 is a folding futon sofa on a solid beech frame, with a thick mattress covered in ash-grey polyester fabric. The frame is not lacquered — in the natural version it is finished with linseed oil and wax. Unfolded, it becomes a flat 140 × 200 cm sleeping surface. Dimensions and space in the room The sofa is 140 cm wide and 115 cm deep when folded, and the backrest reaches 67 cm above the floor. Unfolded, the depth grows to 200 cm, so free space is needed in front of it: add an 80 cm walkway beside the bed and you need roughly 280 cm from the wall. Sitting and sleeping The seat sits 45 cm above the floor, similar to a dining chair, but it is 69 cm deep — you sit on it comfortably with your legs tucked up, while sitting upright calls for a cushion behind your back. The manufacturer rates it for a load of up to 200 kg. The mattress measures 140 × 200 × 13 cm, the size of a standard double mattress, and it is included. It is filled with cotton wadding. Unfolded, the sleeping surface lies 20 cm above the floor — lower than a typical bed, which is worth considering if it will be used by someone who finds it hard to get up from a low bed. Delivery and assembly The sofa arrives in two packages: the frame in a 143 × 124 × 18 cm carton weighing 35 kg, and the mattress in a plastic bag with a non-woven cover, 150 × 50 × 50 cm and 11 kg. The assembled sofa weighs 41.5 kg. You assemble the frame yourself — the manufacturer designed it to be put together by one person, and the instructions and assembly tool are included. You will also need a hammer, and the manufacturer recommends a screwdriver with an S4 or S5 bit.Zobraziť viac
