The Network Cable Tester is a versatile tool designed for the verification and troubleshooting of various types of network cables. Supporting RJ45 and BNC connectors, it ensures comprehensive testing for both Ethernet and coaxial cables. Additionally, it incorporates Power over Ethernet (PoE) testing capabilities, allowing users to assess the functionality of PoE-enabled networks. The device facilitates the quick identification of wiring faults, such as open circuits, short circuits, and incorrect wiring, contributing to efficient network maintenance and installation processes. With its compatibility with RJ45 and BNC connectors, it accommodates the testing needs of diverse network environments, including Ethernet and CCTV setups. The inclusion of PoE testing capabilities is particularly valuable in modern network setups where PoE is commonly used to power devices like IP cameras, access points, and VoIP phones through the same cables that transmit data. This feature enables users to confirm the availability of power and ensure the proper functioning of PoE-supported devices.
